County Junior A quarter final Glin 3-19 Na Piarsaigh 1-5 We claimed a facile win over the city runners up under lights in Mick Neville last week.The goals came from Oliver (2) and a peno from Padraig Scanlon.We were minus a few through injury and work commitments, so hopefully we have these boys back for the semi final. Shannon Gaels u/21 Training continues next Saturday at 11 in Glin. County semi final Glin v Galtee Gaels Saturday 19th in Ballyagran at 4pm. U/14 county semi final Glin 1-16 South Liberties 6-10(aet) We bowed out to a much physically stronger South Liberties outfit last week in Mick Neville.It was a disappointing end to a good season but Glin cant be too despondent as Liberties were much the stronger side and wore us down and got the goals at vital times namely extra time.This is a very good and determined bunch of players and if the men in charge keep them together as they are the future of our club Ive no doubt the will claim silverware in the near future.A big thanks to the management team of David Fitz Tom Culhane and Pat sheehan for their trojan work all year.
