DIY: How to make cornhole boards What you need: Jigsaw pocket hole jig Table Saw 2 pieces of plywood 24″x48″ 1 8′ 2×4 (for the legs) 3 8′ 1×4 (for the frames) Optional: 2 handles 2 latches Cut plywood down to 2 sheets, each measuring 24″x48″. Cut down enough 1×4 to make a frame for each piece of plywood. Drill pocket holes in the frame to connect the pieces. Connect the frame pieces with pocket hole screws. Glue on the plywood, then nail it in place with brads. Draw a 6″ diameter circle 9″ from the top of the board, and horizontally centered. Drill a pilot hole, then cut out the circle with a jigsaw. Smooth inside of cut circle with sandpaper or a sanding drum in a drill. Cut four pieces of 2×4 to approx. 13″ Trim off a semi-circle on the end of each leg. Drill a hole in the top of each leg, the same distance from the top, and both sides. Using the same measurements from the hole in the legs, drill a hole in the frame. Mount the legs to the frame with 3 1/2″ bolts, nuts and washers. With one of the boards support, measure 12″ down from the top of the board, to find where the leg should hit the ground. Mark this line on the leg. Transfer the angle to all four legs. Trim off the angle on each leg. Add a latch to each end, connecting the boards. Also add a handle to one side.
