Daily Prayer Break: Tuesday, December 3, 2013 We invite you to take 3 minutes and spend some time in prayer with us. Pause, Read, Reflect… Pause: Take a moment to center yourself. Focus on your breath. As you breathe in, invite God in -- His love, His goodness -- and repeat the phrase, “I am beloved” -- realizing with every breath God’s incredible love for you. Read: Our Gospel today: LK 10:21-24 Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.” Turning to the disciples in private he said, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.” Reflect: 1) What is God speaking to me about through this Gospel? 2) Do I have faith like a child? 3) How can I grow in faith and seek what God wants to reveal to me? Final prayer: Lord my God, Thank you for the gift of faith. May I always nourish it, seeking to see you in all things. -Amen. Even online, we are a community -- a family -- united through prayer.
