Daily dachshund share / question: Do you drive more carefully when you have the dachshunds in tow?! Im not a reckless driver to start (though Im certain some may have a different opinion) but I find myself particularly cautious when I have my low-riding hounds with me. Im less likely to take a risky turn left and often prefer to wait for a clear path, and Im less likely to speed when I have them. :-) Im tempted of course occasionally, but then I remind myself its not worth the risk, Im hauling some precious cargo. How about you?! Ive also recently reaffirmed my commitment to travel with my dachshunds safely in a crate vs. loose in the car.
