Damn, here I go getting serious again. HEROES! GEORGE BEURLING, Canadian, WWII, the Falcon of Malta. Spitfire pilot who shot down 31+ enemy planes before he was shot down. He survived WWII. He died when he became a pilot for the new state of Israel and his plane exploded in a freak accident. Age 27. RONALD E. ROSSER, American, Korean War, awarded the Medal of Honor, attacked a hill when his unit was attacked. He assaulted the hill, spent his ammo, retrieved more ammo and attacked the hill again. Spent his ammo, acquired more and assaulted the hill a 3rd time. He accounted for 13 enemy dead. When his unit had to withdraw, though he was wounded, he helped retrieve soldiers who were more severely wounded than himself, all while under enemy fire. The only holder of the Medal of Honor I have had the privilege to personally meet. He is the father of Pamela Rosser Lovell, a fine soldier in her own right. These are my heroes. But the list doesnt stop there. From the War of Independence to the wars in Iraq and Afganhistan, all who put on the uniform of my country and served/serve with honor, integrity and loyalty…they are my heroes! Thank you and God bless them all!
