Dandi Guttu also known as the land of god and goddess is a famous pilgrim spot in the Bani Tehsil. Dandi guttu polling station is having 471 voters. It is pertinent to mention that during Parliament election Dandi guttu was only polling station in jammu division where not even a single vote was casted. It is remote and isolated village with distinct problems ranging from road connectivity to education. However road leading to this village is under construction and likely to reach there within next two years. Master Lal chand who is contesting as independent from Bani assembly campaigned in the Dandi guttu village and after a meeting Master lal finally persuaded villagers to participate in the election. Master lal described this as the victory of democracy upheld the trust of villagers in the democracy. If experts are be believed then it is considered as big bonanza for Master lal chand and a wave has been set in his favor the entire hilly belt of Bani assembly segment. Earlier Master Lal campaigned in the areas of Roulka, Doulka,Halla chunchli,Banzair and Chandru where huge gathering of public was seen in the meeting and they all expressed full faith and trust in him and decided to give another term to Master lal as MLA bani who always fought for the welfare of poor and innocent public of this mountainous region.
