Day +117 update Well a lot is going on today &we have a nurse that doesnt speak English... Can you imagine me dealing with someone who I cant even talk to about a situation....nurse saying they need to redraw electrolyte labs but doesnt understand when I ask why? If they forgot to draw this morning? Or for a copy of his labs to even see why they would want to redraw since they have already started?? Conclusion his potassium was at extremely critical level the doctor said hes never seen one that low & doesnt believe the results especially with how good Kyle feels so he is having to have it redrawn.... Said that it may be possible with all the diarrhea but he wants to be sure before giving a whole lot extra. He is receiving some now & If its still real low home health with bring us some to do tonight. They told us we can take steroids differently than prescribed (morning 70mg & 20mg evening) but said with this high of a dose he probably wont sleep much at all anyways & that they are going to monitor the diarrhea and if it continues then the steroid dose may have to be changed back to control the GVHD. Added a blood pressure pill because his blood pressure is & has been real high for weeks! Also ordered physical therapy assessment/appointments because of Kyles fall Friday they are worried his muscles are really breaking down. && are going to get a endocrine consult for tomorrow to get his sugar under control. Whew were ready to nap the rest of this visit & get back to see our girls& do fun Christmas stuff!❤️🎄🎅
