Day 19: I am thankful for being in my right mind. It seems like everyday we hear about someone killing/terrorizing/harassing others as a result of mental illness. Of course, some of it is due to a lack of direction instilled by parents and an inability to exercise self control. On the other hand, untreated mental illness is a real and growing problem in our society. I am truly thankful (especially after my visit on the neurology floor) that I am able to think and function at full capacity.
