Day 3 of Thankfulness…. I guess I will fully submit to the land that I am in… 1.) I am thankful for Harry Potter. EGW was more excited to see Diagon Alley, Hogwarts and Hogsmeade today than any Disney Princess when she was young. The Potter series truly motivated EGW to read. The first Harry Potter book has also been Sams first big book to read on his own. He also thinks this place is better than Disney. 2.) I am thankful for grandparents and aunts who gave the kids some spending money. We are coming home with a disgusting amount of souvenirs thanks to familys generosity. And please dont tell EGW that her wand isnt real because I think she believes it will do magic. 3.) A bed to sleep in tonight. I am completely worn out!
