Day Care update: - Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been away on holiday. I hear everyone has enjoyed the sun and the pool has been out most days. Hugo the Hungarian Vizsla fell totally in love today with Ellie the Husky. He hadn’t taken much notice of her until today. We didn’t have the heart to tell him he had left it too late – She returned today after being spayed! Before she went off to have her operation her mum baked a huge thank you cake for all the staff. I missed out! It was good to see Bella the Labradoodle back this week. She had been recovering after an operation to remove a tumour. We have enjoyed the company of a few new dogs. Yoshi the X Jack Russell, Juno the German Shepherd, Millie the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and her brother Mr Ted the Shih Tzu, Another Poppy! The Cocker Spaniel, Nahla the X Chihuahua and Cupcake the X Chihuahua / Jack Russell. Danny’s dad said that Cupcake was a Jackchi! That’s a new one on me! Daisy the Jack Russell showed her owners she was no couch potato by catching a wild rabbit while out on a walk! The team thought we were haunted one day. In the quiet / chill out time around lunch, everyone was sat around having cuddles. They suddenly became aware of a deep rumbling sound. Eventually, after scaring themselves to death, they found the cause. Millie the new Cavalier was fast asleep and snoring like a warthog! We have enjoyed a few visitors from local schools. They have been completing work experience. Candice, Shelby and Grace. Grace from Sale Grammar left us with a lovely thank you letter. Callum was cleaning up in the yard and left the hosepipe hanging. Rolo managed to walk through the loop of the hose which caused the hose to spray an unsuspecting Callum all over! Well done Rolo, but you must try that one again when I have the camera to hand! It was Charlie Bear Bichons 1st Birthday today so everyone went home with party sacks. While I was away Natalie reached the ripe old age of 23 while Sandy reached a slightly more mature 29. More cakes missed by me!
