Dear Attendee A film festival is an annual event showcasing new Independent films or recently produced films, high profile and undiscovered talent, established and upcoming filmmakers, student filmmakers, and films from around the world. Festivals normally have two or more screens or venues to showcase films. Accepted filmmakers’ hustle to get their film noticed in the hope of obtaining distribution, favorable media. Mpumalanga a home of many hopes, talent and many more specially in the creative industry, and is not recognized due to the fact that 90% of the creative individuals leave the province for better and greener pastures in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town. In any event of effort the department, private sector wish to sponsor such activities they find it difficult because there are no structures or organization organized to create the platform, budget or no budget. You are invited to a film Festival opening for the first time in Mpumalanga Come and witness the creative work of the province. Let the cameras roll. Come and financially support the event for our young filmmakers in the province. We look for a company that will be our partner in the film development in Mpumalanga Province and brand the festival under his or her company for a period of five years. This event will go internationally in 2014; we have organized two world known Actor and Actress Angelina Jolie and Denzel Washington to join us in our Second Annual Festival. We have invited all the MECs and Premiere to officially open our festival. So your attendance will be appreciated. The event run for three days from Friday to Sunday starting at 10am till 18 and on the 3rd day we will be giving awards to the winners of the best films, we have 20 categories to give awards on and after the festival a production of a collaboration production kicks off.
