Dear Coffee Culture The Ristorante Lounge, Hi! we at the The Lucknow Book Club enjoy our fourth sunday meets at Coffee Culture every month, anywhere between 6-20 members come for these drop in 2-3 hour meetings and most of the people who come are regulars at your excellent cafe.. I am however completely heartbroken that you have changed our buy-your-own-coffee-and snacks to paying a set amount of 150 rupees a head for coffee and a sandwich, you then changed this to 250 within a span of 3 months or less! this is extremely unfair because our club isnt some kitty party and suchlike, we have students and seniors as members too..who perhaps would like to order more/less than the stipulated amount..this has made us want to change our venue and also made it hard to invite new drop in members who come for 30 min or so and arent willing to pay 250 but would rather pay a 100 for a coffee.. We understand your limitations as a cafe and especially since sundays are busy and you have excellent customer traffic coming and going to your cafe.. we request you to please, under the given circumstances, let our members pay for their own purchases (we will ensure that everybody buys something and nobody sits around for the heck of it).. otherwise we will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere! :( we do like your cafe, dont you like us?? :( in earnest trepidation, Shinjini Singh (Vice President, The Lucknow Book Club)
