Dear Members of The Casting Network, First of all I would like to thank every one that has attended the shoots on Spotless so far and thank everyone that has turned up on time. We have had a LOT of no shows and a LOT of people cancelling their shoot the night before including a SUNDAY night. This is entirely unacceptable. Being excessively late, being rude to the crew or to the staff of The Casting Network, cancelling a shoot without 2 working days notice, double booking yourself with another agency then cancelling a shoot for us because of it, will not be tolerated. We are introducing a 0-Tolerance policy. Meaning that if any of the above infringements apply to you, you will be removed from our database without hesitation unless you have a valid reason with proof. We understand that there are emergencies so we have to separate the truth from the lies, hence why we ask for evidence. I do appreciate that this is a harsh move but some individuals have ruined it for the rest. The Staff at The Casting Network cannot be expected to spend their Sundays replacing SAs that cannot be bothered to attend a shoot. Our loyal members (you know who you are) will get booked over and over again because we know that we can call them at 7am and get them to set for 8 if they are available. Those are the people we are looking for. We take our job seriously and I do hope that you do to because if you do not and you think that working as an Extra is a waste of time and just something silly to do then you do not belong with this agency. If you are not serious about this work and you wish to be removed from the books before we remove you from them for gross misconduct ourselves then please email: [email protected].
