Dear Mr. President, On behalf of the crew of USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), it is my distinct pleasure to wish you a happy and healthy 90th Birthday. Your presence is felt every day on board this vessel and it continues to inspire and motivate us as we continue our deployment. We are so proud to pay you this special wish because it is such an honor for all of us to serve on the vessel that bears your name. I want you to know that the crew endeavors to conduct themselves daily with the same professionalism and dedication to duty that you have shown in all your years of service to this great nation. Everywhere we go aboard CVN 77, from the flight deck to the engineering spaces, we are reminded of your outstanding contributions to the freedom we continue to enjoy today. You continue to set the “Freedom at Work” example for all of us, because you are such a living embodiment of the ideals this ship and crew strives for. It’s a special privilege for our Sailors to have someone of your great accomplishment continue to take a keen interest in this ship and her crew.
