This happened to us with two of our dog, Tank and Silver. Dan decided to shower before supper so I went ahead and dished up and I thought I had moved the roast beef out of doggie reach before going into the living room to watch tv and eat. When Dan came along to dish up I could hear the oven door opening, the microwave door opening, and I couldnt figure out what was going on. Pretty soon Dan sticks his head in the living room doorway and asks where the roast is. I told him I had left it pushed back on the counter and he then told me it is no longer there. In the meantime Tank and Silver are licking their chops as in saying That was good. To add insult to injury, the next day Dan and I were sitting on the couch watching football and Tank and Silver were laying on the floor in front of the couch leaving farts that smelled like roast beef.
