Dear Pueblo Bonito Community, thank you so much for your support and patience. We can now inform you that as of 5 a.m. this morning, our last guests were being transferred to the airport. Although the transfers to the airport ran smoothly, it seems the evacuation process is slow once guests arrive there. Evacuees have experienced long waits as there are many people trying to leave the destination. Regrettably, there is not much that we can do about the wait at the airport; however, we are providing guests with packed lunches. The situation has already improved today, compared to yesterday, and the wait is considerably shorter. We will be posting more information about our resorts shortly. We will continue to post updates and images of the hotels as the information becomes available. Update for Pueblo Bonito Rose & Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos: The pool and the majority of the rooms at Rosé are in good shape. Our main focus at this property will be to repair the freestanding roof to the Mare Nostrum terrace. This terrace roof will need to be rebuilt, but fortunately, it is not a part of the hotel’s actual structure and its temporary loss will not affect operations at the resort. At Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos, we will need to repair the Palapa (terrace roof) of our Cilantros Restaurant. This will also not affect operations at the resort, and is not a part of the hotel’s structure. We are pleased to report that the general areas, majority of rooms and Palomas restaurant at Los Cabos are all in good shape. Additionally, we would like to share an update with you about our Montecristo Villas and Novaispania Residences: We are fortunate to be able to inform you that the lobby, reception area, gym, spa and the interior areas of La Cibola are all in perfect condition; the only damage was that sustained by the terrace. The condition of the villas varies, and our team will be giving priority to certain villas first. Our staff is still assessing the villas in order to determine which ones will be given priority so that we can receive guests again in October. For the majority, the Novaispania houses are in very good shape. Most of the houses have escaped damage, and all of the furniture is all intact. ~~ Hola a todos, muchas gracias por su apoyo y paciencia. Quisieramos informarles que esta mañana a partir de las 5 a.m. nuestros últimos huéspedes fueron trasladados al aeropuerto. Aunque las transferencias al aeropuerto van bien, parece que el proceso de evacuación es lento una vez que llegan allí. Ha habido largas esperas para los evacuados ya que hay muchas personas que tratan de dejar el destino. Lamentablemente no hay mucho que podamos hacer en referencia a espera en el aeropuerto; Sin embargo, estamos ofreciendo a los huéspedes comida para llevar. Hoy todo va mejor y la espera es considerablemente más corta. Estaremos publicando más información sobre nuestros Resorts en breve. Vamos a seguir publicaando actualizaciones e imágenes de los hoteles en cuanto la información vaya estando disponible. En cuanto a Pueblo Bonito Rose y Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos: La alberca y la mayoría de las habitaciones del Rosé están en buena forma. Nuestra tarea principal en esta propiedad será reparar el techo independiente a la terraza del Mare Nostrum, ya que deberá ser reconstruida, pero afortunadamente, no es una parte de la estructura real del hotel y su pérdida temporal no afectará a las operaciones en el complejo. En Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos, tendremos que reparar la Palapa (azotea) del restaurante Cilantros. Esto también no afectará a las operaciones en el complejo y no es una parte de la estructura del hotel. Nos complace informar que las áreas generales, la mayoría de las habitaciones y restaurante Palomas en Los Cabos están todos en buena forma. Nos gustaría compartir con ustedes una actualización acerca de nuestras Villas Montecristo y las Residencias Novaispania: Tenemos la suerte de informarles de que el lobby, recepción, gimnasio, spa y el interior del Restaurant Cibola están todos en perfectas condiciones; el único daño fue en la terraza. La condición de las villas varía y nuestro equipo va a dar prioridad a ciertas villas primero. Nuestro personal todavía está evaluando las villas con el fin de determinar cuáles van a ser la prioridad de enfoque para que podamos recibir a los huéspedes de nuevo en octubre. La mayoría de las casas en Novaispania están en muy buena forma, no han tenido daños y todo el mobiliario está intacto.
