Dear Replacement, My TEAM is loyal to me and I to them. You are taking over an organized, well run department. They know their jobs and are responsible. Please leave them alone and let them do their jobs. Also, do not go in there like the "hog with the big nuts". You have to earn their trust and respect. If you yell and scream at them, lie and tell upper mgmt your ppl are to blame for things that were your responsibility to get done that you did not, are disorganized, and lazy as you were with your previous department--you will have the same problems as before!!! The department will "go to hell", the team will not respect you (they will most likely quit or transfer). With the total disregard for food safety that you have, it will be a dirty and disorganized, lack of leadership department with most likely all new ppl(because you ran the others off) that you will not train (because you are lazy). I cannot believe it. I apologize now to my TEAM. Please work with the replacement they chose as best you can. Give them a chance, they may change and do better.
