Dear Virginia Film Festival Fans, Join me at Charlottesville’s gorgeous Paramount Theater on Saturday, November 9th, at 10:30 a.m. for a screening of The Gettysburg Story narrated by acclaimed actor Stephen Lang (who, of course, has played both George Pickett and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson). I’ll be introducing the 60-minute film, and afterwards I’ll be conducting a discussion with director Jake Boritt (son of Gabor Boritt, Director of the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College). The Gettysburg Story tells the history of one of the greatest battles ever fought. Cutting-edge technology, including aerial drone cinematography, motion control time-lapse, and 3D animation, provides viewers with unprecedented access to the legendary 6,000-acre battlefield.
