Delighted to receive the news last night that my panel of Seascape images that I submitted to the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers was successful and I have been awarded an Associateship Distinction from them. The panel consisted of 20 digitally projected Seascape images which in turn was judged by 4 Fellowship Distinction holders. 3 of the judges loved the panel and rated it very highly while the 4th judge hated it and totally destroyed the panel. Thankfully the majority vote won out!! Thanks very much to my photographer friends Charlie Lee and Owen OGrady who provided guidance, help, panel critique and encouragement in regards to the whole Associateship qualification process. A big special thanks to my dear friend Tony White (a.k.a Cork Streetphotography) who has always been an encouragement and a photographic mentor since I started my photography journey back in Jan 2013. Finally a big big thanks to my lovely (and very understanding and supportive) wife Gina Daly who suffered and put up with the many lonely evenings while I was out and about around the country chasing these Seascape images!!!
