Deputy President William Ruto has requested the ICC chamber to grant him a break from the courts proceedings. Ruto ask the chamber to allow him to join other Kenyans following terror attack at the westgate in Nairobi Kenya. Following the request, Joshua Sangs lead counsel Katwa Kigen said they support the move however opined that they should be allowed to continue with their part as the Deputy President attend to the matters of the state in Kenya. The International Criminal Court ( ICC) Trial Chamber will on Monday hear his submission The request has been submitted by Ruto’s lead Counsel Karim Khan.
