Before you paint Yorubaland with the same brush as the United States, remember that every single White, Black, Asian and Arab in the US is an immigrant except the Native Americans. In the case of the Yoruba, we are not an immigrant society. We are a nation of indigenous people. And if you think because there are immigrants elected in England and as such non-Yoruba must be elected in Yorubaland, just recall that England enslaved and colonized more than half of the world population. Until such a time the Yoruba also enslaves more than half of the world population, non-Yoruba will never be permitted to take the leadership role of the Yoruba nation. Russia, China and Japan have no black leading their nations. I dont get why an Ibo must be elected in Yorubaland. Slavery and colonialism permitted blacks to vote in America and England. The failure of America and England to pay reparations for slavery and colonialism permitted the blacks in these nations to be voted for. Even at that, white Americans and English will never give up the political leadership of their countries to outsiders. Obama isnt black, but a mixed race and even at that he is pro-White.
