Disco 12” Single – “M” Card: “It’s A Holiday” by Material featuring Nona Hendryx / “Things Fall Apart” by Christina A ZE Records issues a 12” single with a double A sided entry for Material featuring the fabulous vocals of Miss Nona Hendryx – “It’s A Holiday” – a funky electronic piece from the band who made Nona’s solo albums come alive in the early 80s. This one has lots of pulsating percussion and Nona serenading the “party”! Big dance floor packer in my club. “Things Fall Apart” is a twisted piece from Was (Was Not) – a bit more for those dreary rainy days and head phones – this one is a bit depressing – but meant for that left-side of the brain.
