Disregarding any religious factors (since so many assert that if it doesnt apply to everyone it doesnt matter) we wouldnt look at a picture of a fetal elephant and say Thats NOT an elephant. So why do we do that with our own unborn young? My one-year-old is a baby herself, but she knows what a baby is. She sees one and says Baby! You could show a picture of an unborn baby to any three-year-old and they would recognize a baby... But no, that doesnt matter. A baby is only a baby when its convenient. The same people who mourn with a woman who miscarries at 6 weeks are the same people who celebrate her right to terminate an unwanted child at 18 weeks. Either it isnt a baby, and it doesnt matter either way, or it is a baby, and it does matter. I aint ridin the fence on this one, not no how! I voted YES on one.
