Dive Report from last weekend (7-9th June) What a great weekend aboard the Big Cat Reality. With Captain Peter Kelly at the helm, we had smooth sailing for the entire weekend, despite the weather forecast. Between dives we had Whales and Dolphins entertaining all on board. The first dive on the Saturday morning was at Flinders #2 where the visibility was great and the water was thick with turtles! Dive #2 was at Gotham.... yes on a Saturday, and it turned it on. The visibility was 30m with a mild current which brought in a squadron of Eagle Rays, the sight was amazing. Dive #3 took us to the Cement Co where no current or swell, and excellent visibility allowed for a great penetration dive. Dive #4 and the night dive were at flinders #5, where a white tip reef shark, turtles, octopuses and other critters were enjoyed by all. Dive #6 was a drift dive at The Pines, where countless Morey Eels and Zebra Lion fish were spotted. Dive #7 and 8 were at Curtain artificial Reef. First dive was a slack tide dive, where a Grouper the size of a small car was spotted! The last dive was a drift dive at curtain, which was fantastic! It was a great way to end the weekend, and the trip was enjoyed by all on board. Hope this is ok. Cheers, Jason.
