Diwali was supposed to be celebrated as mark of Victory of Good over Evil but we have commercialised it to such an extent that it has become just another give and take event . The rituals and the customs have overtaken the joy of celebration of good over evil. We are so busy preparing for rituals that sometimes they become a burden to the family members. Wish it would be much simpler like when we were kids when Diwali meant new clothes , school holidays and bursting crackers with friends.
