Do you give because of necessity or grudgingly or maybe boast falsely of giving. Then your like the clouds and wind without rain. (Proverbs 25:14) Most men will proclaim each his own goodness (mercy). But who can find a faithful man? (Proverbs 20:6) These are spots (stains) in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about or along by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. (Jude 12,13)
