Doctors validate my concern about the DEADLY HEADLOCK. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ hey Raymond..its my business to treat injured patients...I agree with you, the headlock is,deadly... That is why in mixed martial arts, they train day in and day out to strengthen their neck muscles to try to withstand such attack...but this hardly helps...this are well trained fighters ha. The best way to understand this is to put your fingers beside the trachea...beside the Adams apple that is and press backward , in a few seconds your visions,darkens...if this is kept up, you will damage the brain, produce hypoxic encephalopathy...or brain damage due to lack of oxygen and maybe death. I agree with you, that the fastest way to unlock it is a blow to the head or to the sternum...a quick blow with an instrument that does not penetrate the skull....thats about an inch in some places and thinner at that area he just hit( the temporal area) would be better than a fist.... A fist in this instance would create more damage than a controlled penetrating injury...I have seen the effects of blunt injuries to the head...shallow penetrating ones dont matter....kuyawan Lang ta sa dugo..but thats all that there is bleeding Lang...all one has to do is press on it and it will stop.....this man mustve known that somehow..training maybe? Blunt force on that part will do more damage.... Inflicting quick sharp pain is the answer...there are several body parts that are sensitive, but since most is hidden from the savior the head is usually chosen and yes, an instrument that sheds blood will do the trick... This injuries are a lot controllable than a blunt injury...a bit of pressure on the area, and oh part of the technique of stopping the headlock is the sight of copious bleeding will stop the attacker.
