We have decided to open our heart to another dog/ Actually found one we are interested in with Burlington County Animal Alliance. I emailed expressing our interest and want to meet the dog. I received an answer, they want $300.00! Are you kidding me? I thought these pets desperately need homes. I understand the expense of shots and neutering but come on that can be done through the shelter for a reasonable expense. I just got the feeling that it was almost like a puppy mill. I have and will continue to keep checking the shelters of course but we do have a certain type of dog we are interested in and I havent seen any yet.
