Doha, Qatar - March 20 - U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker highlights expanding Qatar-U.S. trade ties and economic partnership at a business breakfast event hosted by NUSACC and Amcham Qatar at the Intercontinental – Doha. Amin Salam, Vice President of the U.S. - Arab Chamber of Commerce commented, The National U.S. - Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) in partnership with Amcham Qatar, is honored to host Secretary Pritzker and members of her business delegation in Doha, Qatar. This visit will mark the first time in 15 years a U.S. Commerce Secretary has taken a trade mission to the Arabian Gulf. Salam added The visit of the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the Middle East, along with the planned visit of President Obama to the region later this month, is a clear indication that the U.S. Administration views commercial ties between the U.S. and the State of Qatar as a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship.
