Due to recent events, the Damaged Goods band find themselves in need of a dynamic Bass Player to join in with this versatile collection of musicians. Must be comfortable playing every kind of music under the sun. Must have BIG EARS. Vocal participation is demanded, both lead and background harmonies. We have a busy summer and fall schedule with at least 3 or 4 bookings per month. Only seasoned performers need apply. Must be able to convey the fact that you are enjoying yourself and having a blast on stage. We are not looking for anyone who is doing this for any other reason than the MUSIC!!! 100% commitment is required. Must have HUGE EARS! We are not big drinkers but we like to have a good time on stage and off. If it doesnt interfere with your abilities, we wont have a problem. We expect creative input with soulful, expressive interpretations of our songs. Our covers are not the 3 min. 10 sec. copies that are regurgitated over and over again. They are rather a unique take, that leaves enough of the original element to honor and pay respect to the artists/bands that brought us these tunes, but also allows us to present our renditions,by using our talents and feel (that we have spent decades developing) to tell our own story, musically. Must have ears like HOWDY DOODY! Anyone feeling that they would be a gift to this band, need not apply. Confidence is a must, however due to the over-inflated ego of founding member Keith King already occupying the majority of available space on stage, it is asked that egos be left at home, or in the parking lot or in your gig bag.
