EBOLA vs The PRESIDENT: Ever since this Ebola plague came and held our country hostage, Liberians have been inundated with despair and fright. The disease is reigning havoc on the psyche of Liberians all over the world, and what we need right now is to rally around our leader whom I am sure is troubled by the events surrounding this scourge. What we need to be doing is not to attack her, but to pray that she and her health team are granted the wisdom to guide our country through these trying times I know I will get pounded for this, but attacking the president and calling her all the negative names in the book will not solve this problem. Already the disease has claimed the lives of several prominent doctors, nurses and health practitioners, and it continues to consume victims at an alarming rate. The President needs to be assured that she has the country behind her so that she can do her work effectively. No matter who was president at this time in Liberia, Liberians need to rally around them. Lets leave out the politics and personal animus against our leader. Those of us who believe in God, we should be praying for his guidance to give this woman the strength and courage to lead us through these dark Ebola days. Those who dont believe in God need to have compassion and give her the moral support she needs to do her job. Please my fellow Liberians, the woman needs our support more than ever. Lets hold off the barrage of attacks insults until this enemy of ours is arrested and expunged from our midst. May God Bless Liberia and the Liberian people and our leader/leaders!
