Early tomorrow evening (7:00 pm Wednesday) at Jerrys Deli and Grill, an anonymous local gentleman - known for dressing in seersucker suits and wearing bow ties - will sit in the chair wearing seersucker and bow tie, and get doused by a large bucket of ice water. So far Fronie Jackson has pledged big bucks to the Scotland County Humane Society so that she can pour the first of the ice water on the hapless individual. Come on out and outbid her for this sacred privilege. There will be many other participants in this fun and creative event to benefit our furry friends, so you may get your chance to take on that policeman or highway patrolman who gave you a ticket for speeding 36 in a 35 zone, or that restaurant owner who put too much spice on your buffalo wings. You can also volunteer to sit in the cool and refreshing chair:-)
