Elizabeth Frye Cain, 92, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston Salem NC. She was born in Surry Co., NC, on May 22, 1921, to Joe Henry Frye and Ella Keaton Frye. Her survivors include her one daughter, Shirley Cain Bowman; four granddaughters, Sharon Bowman and husband, Grant, Lynn Wright, Rhonda Neal and husband Mark, and Robin Todd; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray Cain; her parents; four sisters, Lillian Castle, Estelle Childress, Ada Bates, and Annie Mae Cox; and three brothers, Howard Frye, George Frye, and Joe Frye. Funeral Services will be conducted, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Gosnell officiating. Interment will follow at Pinnacle View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m prior to the service.
