Engineering Students from Jadavpur University to counsel and Help new candidates with the admission process after the publication of WBJEE results. Sharing a message received from Ashish Tamang whch should be of help to aspiring engineering students: A group of Engineering students from the hills have come together to be a part of something new and challenging as to forming a Mentor Group predominant in the ivy league colleges in the west. These students mostly coming from various Engineering Backgrounds at Jadavpur University have decided to offer Counselling as well as other help regarding admission to students who have qualified in the recently concluded WBJEE exams. These students are coordinating the process of identifying potential students from hills who could be offered help regarding the process and other nitty gritties of admission which in itself is a daunting task. A Joint co-ordination team comprising engineering students at Jadavpur University comprising students from Ghoom, Kalimpong, Darjeeling and adjoining areas including Kolkata has been formed to see that students from the hills do not face any harassment during the counselling period.
