Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus) Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his (Same) power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (external dominion power manifested from His internal resident strength) In the cartoons of Popeye the Sailor Man, Popeye ate a can of spinach, which gave to him inner, inherent or resident strength. • This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination, which would wipe out Bluto, his archenemy. • God’s power performs in us in the same fashion. Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus) • The spinach is the revelation of the Son of God in us. • The inner inherent strength that the spinach gave to Popeye is called ischus. We see this word at the end of verse 19. • This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination. This is called kratos, • God’s dunamis power (or his manifested ability) is defined as the product of the dominion (kratos) that God exerts over His creation, and over all that is not of Him, as a measure of His inner, resident, or inherent strength ( ischus) • What Popeye ends up doing to Bluto, is manifested dunamis power, or power in ability. Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus) • What is the overcasting and transcending ability ( dunamis) of the same funneled into us who continually believe according to the energy put out as external dominion power (kratos) from his internal resident strength, ( ischus) Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. • A law says that under specific circumstances, specific results will always take place. I can apply my equation therefore, but mind you, just for fun! I know that the power of God is not simplified to such an equation, but there is truth to my madness! (Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him. • CONFIDENCE in the voice of God is the great catalyst of energy that releases the gifts and the power of God. This is why I have place confidence as (squared), or the quality which works exponentially. • The amount of confidence that we have in obeying God, or giving a word, or praying for someone, is directly proportional to the access that we will have to the anointing, the power, the gifts or to the grace of God. • Confidence by faith gives us boldness with God and most important of all, ACCESS to the things of the kingdom of God. We have full access already but this is the key. • “ACCESS” in the things of the kingdom of God is the right to obtain or use or take advantage of something (as services or membership). • It gives us access to the ischus of God which will manifest as kratos. • Five minutes of prayer with absolute confidence in the voice of the Spirit does more than a month of praying in doubt! Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him. Romans 5:2 By whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power When Gods dominion power is functioning or being energized from his inner power by us..... BANG, everything becomes possible or able, and there is the manifestation of DUNAMIS POWER. • The great catalyst however is our confidence in the Lord! • Any incremental increase in our confidence will exponentially increase ACCESS to the things of the kingdom and to the process of the power of God just which I just described. (Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power.
