Even though the leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised, Farah Khan is gearing up to begin shooting for her fourth film after Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om(2007) and Tees Maar Khan (2010). Titled Happy New Year, Farah returns to her favourite actor Shahrukh Khanwho played the leadin her first two films as director. Apart from SRK, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani have been signed to play important characters, while Vivaan Shah is the latest entry into the ‘Happy New Year’ cast. Vivaan, son of veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Patak, was last seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s’7 Khoon Maaf’. He will be portraying the character of a 18 year old in the film. There were rumours lately that Farah has signed television actress Ankita Lokhande ( Kai Po Cheactor Sushant Singh Raput’s girlfriend) to play the female lead opposite Shahrukh Khan. While Farah hasn’t denied the rumour, she has promised to make the announcement soon. Happy New Year goes on floors a month after the release of Chennai Express. The first shooting schedule,which was delayed due to SRK’s shoulder surgery, will now begin in Dubai.
