Even though your mom wouldnt like it...STICKY FINGERS COULD MAKE YOU A SUPER HERO!!!! Look what it did for Spidey. When I was writing Spider-Man for Marvel Comics years ago, I wondered why Spider-Man could stick to walls with his gloved hands, but they didnt seem to stick to anything else. It seemed inconsistent to me. So I created this scene where Spidey has taken the box of doughnuts and, my thought was, that he could reach into the box and instantly pick up 5 doughnuts...one on each finger. That way he could make his selection of what flavor he wanted in a slightly different manner than than you or I would. Because if youre going to have spider powers, why not use them? These were the type of things that go through a writers head all the time. Formulating silly ideas that might entertain readers and ourselves at the same time. I also have him hanging upside down the whole time too while he makes his decision on what pastry to consume. TODD
