Every night when I say my prayers I say one for Denyse Marie as she raises my nephew to be the young king that he is. 2 years ago in the wake of the Trayvon Martin murder I added Mario Reyes to those prayers as he was forced to explain to his loving, bow tie wearing son that sometimes people will be scared of him merely because of the color of his skin. Tonight Ill add every parent who has been charged with the seemingly impossible task of raising young black kings in a world that has deemed their lives worthless.
