Every once in a while you get an opportunity to do good! This afternoon Coach arrived in Cedar park to begin training with the goal of getting him adoption ready. While I had seen videos and pictures of him, and even performed a long-distance assessment, he was even more impressive in person. So what can I tell you about Coach...well hes a small border collie mix, but looks all border collie, his markings are beautiful, buts theres much more to this guy. Despite the fact that he was neutered yesterday, endured a long car ride from the Dallas area to get here, and managed to rip out his sutures, to the extend that he had to be closed up again on route, he was one of the gentlest dogs Ive ever met. Being this way on our first meeting, with all that going on, I cant help but be excited about what he will be like after hes trained and healed up. I will be starting a running video log on his progress, and will be starting work with him tomorrow. Im excited at the possibilities!
