Everyone has been hearing about the $350 refund check from NYS. Please be aware that you will only receive these checks if you had to pay NYS in 2012 in addition to other criteria. Which means if you received a refund from NYS in 2012 you will not receive this check as you did not pay them money. You received a refund which in most cases was bigger than the $350 people are receiving now. Always pays to get a bigger check in 2012 rather than a smaller one in 2014 two years later with zero interest. So the people who are not getting checks now you should be happy just like I am.
