****Everyone has had the kind of day where everything seems wrong; attitude deteriorates, patience fades, and next thing you know youre one comment away from punching someone in the face.... And then there is a spark, something so simple and pure it almost goes unnoticed.**** My spark today came from ultimate sadness, turned into pure compassion, and ended in a moment I will surely never forget.... On my angry drive home, because I forgot my straps for the gym and needed them before working out, I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. The road to my home is rampant with deer, and I was witness to a very young fawn being struck by a passing truck. The violence of the incident threw it into the air and down into the ditch, its mother running away in obvious fear. I stopped, to ensure the young fawn was not in any pain. I walked down the bank to see it struggling, but within moments of death. I sat down next to it, took its head in my hands and stroked its face and neck. I almost didnt notice the mother had come across and was inching closer to myself and her calf. She laid down within inches of us, and I held the fawn for a few minutes until it took its last breath. Every action leads us somewhere, do not be afraid to follow....you never know how it will change your life forever.
