Everyone is posting about Mr. Nathans death. Most of the posts read something along the lines of I cant believe Mr. Nathan died, he was such a great guy. Now Im not posting this for a debate or to start anything, and yes perhaps this might offend people but lets be honest: maybe some of you talked highly of Mr. Nathan before his death, but most of you didnt. You talked about how he screamed at kids and how he put thumb tacks in his forehead. You described him using words such as douchy or a total a*hole, and to be honest these are the same experiences Ive had with him so it doesnt surprise me. So now that he is dead you want to talk about how he was such a great person? I get that you want to respect him, but he is dead. If you want to respect someone in that way, wouldnt it be fair to say that he deserves the same kind of respect when he was alive then? If he was such a great person then why werent you talking so highly about him then? Its not respectful, its hypocritical. Honesty, I personally thought the guy was a douche and my feelings about him didnt change after I heard the news about his death. With that being said, I hope he can finally rest in peace, because none the less it is sad news. But I refuse to pretend I thought he was something else to try to make myself look good.
