UGC NET 2014: last day to submit printout of online Application Form printout of online Application Form Today is the last day to submit the printout of online Application Form (one copy) c (one copy) at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) The Central Board Secondary education (CBSE) will conduct National Eligibility Test (NET) in December 2014 on behalf of UGC. Candidates who have successfully printed online application and paid the fees can deposit Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate latest by November 25, 2014, that is today. The UGC NET examination will be held nationwide on December 28, 2014. Paper Pattern: The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions held in two separate sessions. Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. All the questions of Paper -II and Paper -III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options). NET for the June session was held on Sunday i.e. June 29, 2014. CBSE will conduct NET in 79 subjects at 87 selected NET Coordinating Institutions spread across the country. The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.
