FACEBOOK NOSEWORK CLASS COMING SOON! Get in on an awesome new sport that is growing FAST and have a fun new game with your dog! I got a lot of interest in Nosework lessons, and it seems the best way to offer classes right now, due to variable schedules through the holidays, is through a private Facebook group. Whether you are new to Nosework or have been doing it a while and want a much more solid alert, this class is for you! Class space is limited! Siryn and I have done exceptionally well so far, being the first team in the nation to earn the UKC UN2 (2nd level) title and taking 1st place from about 30 teams in the first NACSW trial in the South region. With just 6 weeks of training with this method, she went from never doing Nosework to 2nd place High in Trial (video is shown below). My first students (Dachshund mix and Scottish Terrier) had never shown dogs before and did incredibly well at all their shows with rock solid alerts after just a few months of training. This method is designed to help you get precise alerts quickly! The class is $185 for a 7 week class and it includes the odor (plus shipping if you live out of the Austin area). The only other supplies you need are a few cardboard boxes and some treats. A lesson will be posted once a week along with a video example of what to work on that week (you can follow along as Fayze learns Nosework!). You just upload your video(s) to the private Facebook group at your convenience and I will post comments and suggestions to help you progress.
