FAITH AND WORKS2 Now the work wasnt refering to the law! rather it meant love! jam2v14 ...if a man says he has faith,but not works can such faith save him?... v15 ...without meeting their needs what does it profit? so from this example,we see that james wasnt talking about the law,but the new law of love! if the work was the law,he would have saidwhy say you are a cristian,when u cant pay tithe? what does it profit? v17: so faith without works(love)is dead(fake) mind you,you are not the one to do the works,it is the holyspirit(christ)who will do it through you! thats why paul said i dont live,but christ lives through me! he will complete the good work(righteousness)H e has started in you! gal5v6: ...ALLthat matters is FAITHthat makes u LOVE.. you dont make yourself love,faith does the job! thats why james said faith made abraham do good,it also made rahab do good.So if your own faith makes you sin,or hate your brother,it is fake and dead! real faith comes by hearing (and beliving) the gospel!
