FALCONERS X-MAS POOL PARTY LIGHTS UP HOTEL! A well-known, major local employer thoroughly enjoyed their annual Christmas Party dinner once again this year at the Royal Sportsman Hotel! Falconer Electricals Ltd engineers and contractors, based in Penrhyndeudraeth, returned for their hat-trick of festive works dos - but with a bit of a difference this year! Electrician Mostyn - a year-round regular in our Gelerts Bar - suggested to hotel owner Aby that we hire-in a pool table so the lads could have a game after their restaurant dinner! Company owner Keith Williams and trusted aide Kristy Faulkner organised the party with our general manager Kasia Williams, while Mostyn and Aby arranged the pool table so the team could play their favourite game of Killer! Kristy says: Its the third year running weve come to the Sportsman and it just gets better! Once again the food - a three-course party menu - for 35 people was exceptional quality and value; the restaurant service very friendly and efficient; and the whole atmosphere in the lounge and bar really happy and festive! Our complements to all the staff. And the lads loved having their usual game of pool! Aby says: I said from the moment I became owner in June 2013, I wanted this hotel to be at the heart of its Porthmadog community once again. We will go the extra mile - such as getting in a pool table or darts board for regular customers - to make it the place to come! We hope Falconers will return next year too. . ?
