FB Family please pray for my family because I received some very unfortunately news today and my heart is so heavy. My grandfather, Pete Knight passed this morning. How I so loved this man. I thank God for the many days we spent together. I thank God for allowing me to shower him with love and to make every moment we spent together special. I thank God that my grandfather knew I loved him because every chance I got I showed him. What wisdom this man had. Being in the presence and talking to my grandfather is where I received most of my business savvy and my entrepreneurship mind. What a brilliant man, who was handsome and looked darn great for his age (88), may I add. Yes, my heart is heavy, but my heart and my mind are at peace. When you honor, love, and respect your parents and grandparents, you live with no regrets. I tell people all the time who lack respect for their parents/grandparents, you only get one. Love them, in spite of them. The Word clearly says to honor your mother and father. It does not say to honor them when they are perfect or when they only do right. They are human and they will make mistakes. We all do. The Word clearly says to honor them, with no conditions attached. So no matter what disagreement you had with your parents, no matter how busy you are and you cannot call or come by to see them, or what negative feelings you harbor against them, let it go, do better, repent, ask God and your parents/grandparents for forgiveness, and show them some love from that day forward. When these precious gifts from God, leave this earth, there is nothing you can do to get that time back. Doing this honors them and honors God. Not only will your parents/grandparents be grateful and thankful, but God will be smiling down on you and He will honor you with a long life!!!
