FOUR DAYS TO GENERAL ELECTION Many thanks to the Sharon and Tom Coe for the meet and greet gathering they had for us last night, and to those who attended. Enjoyed talking to old friends, as well as making new ones. Also, words cannot express how I feel about the many kind remarks sent to the local papers. Though a few were solicited, most were not. It has been exciting to pick up the paper each morning and find the flattering and humbling letters most mornings for the last couple of weeks. I am most grateful for your published support. I understand that my opponent has published a mass mailing to the people of the area. We found the cost of such a mailing to be prohibitive, and hope that nobody is offended if they do not receive such a mailing from our campaign headquarters. Ill rely and stand on my statements on this page, as well as the support shown by others in the local newspapers (which I will try to reproduce in the form of posts on this page), and knocking on as many doors as I can, as well as your assistance with the spreading of my message, in order to develop a network of voters to help get me elected next Tuesday.
