FOXBORO MIDGET FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION (1 Day ONLY) Saturday, March 15th, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Foxboro American Legion Hall - Mechanic St. Football Players ages 7 to 14 & Cheerleaders ages 7 to 15 as of July 31, 2014 Only a parent/legal guardian can register a child due to signature requirements. Do not send a friend or relative in your place. The items listed below are needed to register your child. If anything is missing your child cannot be registered. 1. If your child is a first time participant or has not participated since 2008 bring an ORIGINAL birth certificate to registration. We cannot register your child without this. 2. All children MUST come to registration. • Cheerleaders are placed on teams by age only and MUST come to registration. Participants between the ages of 10-15 may be placed on competition teams. • Football players are placed on teams by age & weight. Participants MUST be weighed at registration. This is the ANTICIPATED age & weight guidelines for 2014. E Team (7-8 yrs old) 45-90 lbs. (9 yrs old) 45-75 lbs. D Team (8-9-10 yrs old) 60-105 lbs. (11 yrs old) 60-85 lbs. C Team (9-10-11 yrs old) 75-120 lbs. (12 yrs old) 75-100 lbs. B Team (10-11-12 yrs old) 90-145 lbs. (13 yrs old) 90-120 lbs. A Team (11-12-13-14 yrs old) 105 lbs-Unlimited weight (14 yr. old 9th graders) 105-165lbs 3. Registration fee is $175. Family plan $175 for the first and $100 for each additional child. • Cash or Check accepted. There will be a $25 surcharge for returned checks. • We also accept credit/debit cards. • No child will be turned away due to financial constraints. (Payment plan will be available) 4. Parents will be required to fill out a mandatory volunteer form. Do not miss this sign-up. Teams are filled on a first come basis, maximum of 35. Late registrations will be accepted, but that could result in your child being placed on a waiting list. There is a $25 late fee per family for registrations received after April 1st.
