FRIDAY PHREDDIOLOGICAL MUSINGS!!! Hi folks, it’s been a while since I last mused and till today I thought there was never a Friday. Please who just called me Dr. Phreddy??? Please I don’t have my masters degree yet so hold on because I can’t be a doctoral fellow and I don’t have a picture of myself standing by the wall of any University in the world. My friend, stop laughing. A lot has happened within the week but none can be compared to the issue of Franklin Cudjoe’s CV which came under serious scrutiny. Franklin Cudjoe is the president of Imani Ghana and I don’t know if it has metamorphosed in OccupyGhana and in his quest to tell Ghanaians that he’s the most educated person in Ghana, he published his CV which says he earned a doctoral degree from the University of Buckingham. To confirm his claim, Franklin posted a picture of himself standing by the walls of the University of Buckingham. Well, Bryte Owusu threw a challenge to Franklin Cudjoe to give the world his student registration number at the University of Buckingham and stated that his (Bryte Owusu) student registration number at same University is 1304177. If credibility means anything to Franklin Cudjoe, he will pick up this challenge. He who come to equity must come with clean hands and you can’t lead the fight against corruption when a mere CV of yours appears corrupt. Readers should feel free to tell me where they had their doctorate degrees and I won’t ask for details wai. Ajeeeeeeeeey. On the same CV of Franklin Cudjoe, he claim he debated sitting Tanzanian President Mkapa on globalization in 2007. Massa Franklin, to the best of my knowledge the president of Tanzania from 2005 till now is Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete. Mkapa ruled Tanzania from 1995-2005. Boss, this be serious CV fraud ooo. Such a person can’t tell me that he is leading any serious crusade against corruption. With all due respect, I am not occupying Franklin Cudjoe’s CV ooo. Anyway, how come Franklin Cudjoe states in his CV that he won the 2006 Templeton award when the official website of Templeton says the award was won by John D. Barrow??? Please you can confirm from their official website. templetonprize.org/previouswinner.html. Please don’t add occupyfranklincv to it. Hahahahaaaa, but it is a dream to see Imani/occupy whatever invest their time and energies on an educational outreach in rural communities instead of sitting in Accra and writing up bloated CVs. Did I just say bloated CVs??? I think I have to move on to my next issue wai. Let me commend government for what Franklin Cudjoe and his “occupycv” guys claim they were going to expose government on. They came up with a report from auditing firm KPMG on ghost names in our system and the most interesting part is the fact that government contracted KPMG to come up with this report in its quest to clear government’s payroll off ghost names. The question I want to ask Franklin Cudjoe and his “occupycv” guys is, how can you call a government who contracted KPMG to conduct an audit on our payroll to enable it seal all loopholes corrupt based on the same report it is using to stop a corrupt act??? The deputy finance minister, Mona Quartey confirmed that the size of our payroll decreased by 13% after implementing the recommendations in the KPMG report. This is a government ready and willing to fight corruption and it can only be done by an NDC government that has “Probity and Accountability” as its foundation. Sam Dzata George met Ken Ofori Atta in court after the latter sued the former for saying that he evades tax. My friend, I don’t have money to hire a lawyer so I will only share a link with you wai. ghanaiantimes.gh/gra-launches-attack-on-de…/…. Please click on this link and read about what happened between the Ghana Revenue Authority and Data Bank and draw your own conclusions. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anybody’s conclusion ooo. But somebody should please ask Lawyer Edudzi Kojo Tamakloe why he was laughing in court the whole of yesterday for me ooo. Somebody seriously needs money for 2016 campaign and you keep laughing in court. Antoa dey ooo. Ajeeeeeeeey So Abu Rahmadan told Ghanaians that the Tamale International Airport is not worth it because my brothers from the North don’t need an international airport for real??? Well, let me quote something from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s book “Dark Days in Ghana” (Pages 100 to 103) as he lamented on happenings in Ghana. “Apart from handing over public corporations to private enterprise. The, N.L.C. announced drastic cuts in the routes operated by Ghana Airways, the halting of work on the new international airport at Tamale in Northern Ghana, and the cancellation of a number of orders for new ships for the state owned Black Star Line. Both Ghana Airways and the Black Star Line were established by my government to break the monopoly of foreign transport companies. They were ultimately to become foreign currency earners. At Afienya, some 26 miles from Accra, the “N.L.C.” shut down the excellent Gliding School established by flight Captain Hanna Reitsch. The school, recognized as among the best in the world was providing valuable initial flying training for members of the Young Pioneers, Army and Air Force cadets and for trainees from other African countries. The excuse was made that these were all prestige project. The same excuse was given as the reason for abandoning or selling to private ownership other important state enterprises though everyone knows that they were surrendered because they threatened the business interests of the new masters of Ghana-the neo-colonialists and their agents.”. Do you know that Abu Rahmadan is the brother in-law of Dr. Bawumia, the running mate of Nana Addo who is the flagbearer of the npp??? Well, I will only ask readers to go read more about the Danquah/Bussia tradition and they will understand where all this is coming from. I will drop the curtains here but please tell Boakye Agyarko of the npp that, if painting existing public toilet with hipc money was importatnt in his opinion, then the circle and kasoa interchange is more than important to the taxi driver who uses two hours to move from Nungua to Circle now but will be able to cover same distance in thirty minutes once the project is complete. This means the taxi driver can make a minimum of trips from Nungua to Circle and even have some time to spare within the same two hours he previously use to make just a trip. Maybe he has no value for productive hours wasted in traffic but most Ghanaians do. The Phreddiological tour which is aimed at capturing all projects being undertaken by government in my quest to locate the taxpayers money will be happening soon and sponsorship from individuals and corporate bodies to help make this tour a success are welcome. Catch you on the flipside, folks. SCRIBED BY PHREDDY PLIES (JAH BE MA HOMEBOY)
